While social media showcases treatment possibilities visually, it is crucial to consult with qualified and ethical healthcare practitioners for honest information on risks, side effects, potential benefits and long-term results. You can rest assured that the staff at Plump adhere to a strict medical moral code prioritising individual patient concerns, overall beautification and anti-ageing goals, while considering both short and long-term results.

Anti-wrinkle treatments utilise a neurotoxin agent (Botulinum toxin Type A) to temporarily relax and decrease the strength of muscles. In doing so, overall muscle contractions are minimised resulting in a reduction of fine lines, softening of deeper wrinkles and reduction of muscle bulk, leaving the skin to appear plumper, more youthful and with a luminous glow.

Many patients who grind their teeth can suffer from migraines, pain, tenderness and temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) problems, headaches, earache, facial pain and broken teeth. Injecting muscle relaxer medication into the masseter muscles can provide instant relief. Treatment can last 3-12months. Majority of patients have up to 90% symptomatic relief. In some cases, individuals may have prominent enlarged masseter muscles, located at the angle of the jaw, contributing to a square-shaped face.

This treatment can reduce the bulky size of this muscle, resulting in a more tapered or oval appearance, enhancing facial contours. The square, severe appearance of their lower face softens into a more normal and aesthetically pleasing and feminine jaw line. This can often be a genetic/ anatomical or ethnicity prevalent concern. The recommended treatment regime is treatment every 3-6monthly for symptomatic relief. Your dose is adjusted per person, based on severity, size of muscle and personal response to treatment. Some patients who have been suffering for a long time take 3 treatments 2-3 months apart until they are able to reach a maintenance level. Individual results, relief and regime will vary. Consultation is required and all information discussed with our PLUMP medical team. Downtime is only the day of treatment.
